Scrutiny want public’s view on £65m States cutbacks

ISLANDERS are being given the opportunity to comment on States cutbacks in the Health, Social Security and Housing departments.

A Scrutiny panel has launched a review into the impact the States-wide £65 million cutbacks will have on the departments.

Deputy Geoff Southern, chairman of the Health, Social Security and Housing Scrutiny panel, said: ‘The panel wants to establish what the impact on those who rely on States-funded services has been.
