THE lack of a mainline sponsor has resulted in the cancellation of the European Seniors Golf Tour event scheduled for La Moye in June.
The annual and popular Pro-Am tournament has been taken off the calendar though it is hoped that it will return in 12 months’ time.
La Moye Golf Club has staged Tour golf every year bar one since 1978, the regular tour through to 1995 and then the Seniors Tour up to last year with the exception of 1996.
