JERSEY Rugby Club scraped a 25-20 win against Shelford today, in their last National II South game this season.

They were losing for most of the match, held at their St Peter ground, but came through in the final ten minutes.

Meanwhile, Ealing thumped Lydney 127-19, which gives them automatic promotion, and leaves the Island side’s chance of promotion dependant on a play-off match to be held in Jersey on 28 May. Their opponents are not yet known.
