Culkin and JFA make peace

JERSEYMAN Craig Culkin will lead Jersey’s defence of the NatWest Island Games football title in the Isle of Wight next month.
Nearly two weeks after criticising the Jersey Football Association for their lack of support and resources for the Kleinwort Benson Muratti Vase final, the two parties have now settled their issues and Culkin will remain as manager for the foreseeable future.
Culkin threatened to walk away if matters did not improve, but that is not now the case, following meetings with the JFA executive and the senior men’s representative management team.
