Robin off to a flyer!

JERSEY golfer Gyles Robin has had a flying start to his professional career by advancing to the final stage of qualifying for US Open.
The former De La Salle College student turned pro last month and on Monday, in his fourth tournament, he returned a two-under-par score of 70 to place second at the US Open local qualifier at Fiddlesticks Country Club at Fort Myers in Florida.
Robin, who recently finished four years at the Florida Gulf Coast University, said: ‘I’m very happy with how I’ve started my professional career and I’m excited for what the future holds.
