Guernsey teenager jailed for life

A GUERNSEY teenager has been jailed for life after being convicted of a series of night-time sex attacks.
Filipe Burton struck fear into women last summer as he stalked the streets targeting lone females walking home from nights out.
During the height of his offending, police stepped up patrols, warned that the streets of St Peter Port were no longer safe and urged women not to walk alone at night.
During a hearing in Guernsey’s Royal Court yesterday, the 19-year-old received three life sentences and was told that he would be released only when he no longer posed a risk to women.
