The show’s over for Donelda

Mega, Donelda and Biba on stage during last night’s semi-final

DESPITE a dazzling performance by Jersey dog trainer Donelda Guy and her two dancing dogs, the spotlight went out on their act when they were voted off the ITV Britain’s Got Talent semi-final last night.

Picked as one of judge Simon Cowell’s favourite acts of the night, Mrs Guy was hoping to make it through to Saturday night’s live final.

The 67-year-old and her prancing pooches were up against some strong competition from the other seven acts in last night’s show, all in a bid to win a spot at the Royal Variety Performance and a £100,000 cash prize.

Mrs Guy and her two border collies, Mega and Biba, danced to Shirley Bassey’s song Get The Party Started and impressed both the judges and the
audience.

Whilst this isn’t my cup of tea it obviously took a lot of time and hard work by this lady.

Loco, why post if you don’t care? I wonder if you would have been indifferent if it had been a friend or family member performing? Or something you were interested in?

So sorry Donelda did not make it to the final of Britian’s Got Talent. Donelda is a fabulous lady with an unique talent who loves her animals & they love her in return. It is very easy to control something that is not alive, to control and have love and respect from an animal that is alive ( ie dog’s, horse’s ) is somethig else.

    Well Done Donelda xx

Well done Donelda, sorry you did not make it to the final of Britain’s Got Talent. We thought you Mega & Biba were as usual fabulous. I don’t think the judges and public recognised the true talent of training and performing with live animals rather than an inanimate object.
