Ex-minister’s civil action is struck out

FORMER Health Minister Stuart Syvret’s civil claim against the Chief Minister, the States and the Attorney General has been struck out and he must pay the respondents’ costs.
In a judgment given in the Royal Court yesterday by UK Judge Jonathan Sumption QC, Mr Syvret’s Order of Justice, in which he also sued the States Employment Board, was struck out in its entirety.
However, the costs faced by Mr Syvret are not yet known.
