Battle crown for Junior Miss

THE Island’s new Miss Junior Battle of Flowers was crowned yesterday.
Nine-year-old Jessica Burby, who lives in St Clement and is a pupil at Jersey College for Girls, beat off stiff competition from 19 other girls to win the title.
The daughter of Mark and Selina Burby was among the five picked out for the final at the event, held at Reg’s Garden in St Brelade.
