Protesters still wait for cash
Tuesday 28th June 2011, 2:57PM BST.
A ST Helier restaurant which was at the centre of a protest over outstanding debts has closed.
Dixie’s bar and steakhouse closed on Wednesday just weeks after several of owner Tony Shelton’s creditors staged a high profile campaign to get the money they were owed.
The action was spearheaded by butcher André Baudin, owner of André’s of Jersey, who staged a protest ‘steak out’ in front of the Weighbridge restaurant.
