Alderney suspends major poker firm

THE Alderney gaming licence of one of the biggest names in online poker has been suspended as a result of a US investigation into alleged bank fraud and money laundering.
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has taken action against Full Tilt Poker, requiring the poker company to suspend all operations from the jurisdiction with immediate effect.
It has told four licence holders, Vantage Ltd, Oxalic Ltd, Filco Ltd, and Orinic Ltd – who together do business as Full Tilt – that they must ‘cease to exercise their e-gambling licenses’.
