Jersey College for Girls prom
Wednesday 6th July 2011, 12:00PM BST.
EYE catching modes of transport, an awards ceremony and a casino helped students at Jersey College for Girls celebrate the end of compulsory education.
The year 11 prom at the Hotel L’Horizon on Friday included arrivals in everything from stretch limos and army trucks to vintage coaches and flash cars.
Following a sit-down dinner Georgie Singleton was named prom queen with Vicky Binet and Taye Le Monnier runners-up.
Each table also voted for the students ‘most likely to’ achieve a range of future accolades. Ally Corbridge was named most likely to become Prime Minister, while Gemma Hamilton was the most likely to become a famous actress and Jodie McShea a news presenter.
