Corey Bisson: Half century
IT was a bad night for the top two teams in Division I in the NatWest Evening Cricket League last night as both were defeated.
Leaders Ashburton went down by six wickets to Jackson Fox Hautlians at FB1 while second-placed InfrasoftTech Walkovers were undone by 20 runs by Rathbone OVs at LQ1.
Kevan Crowell led Hautlians, who moved up to places to second, to victory with an unbeaten half century – a feat repeated by teenager Corey Bisson for OVs. Bisson struck three sixes and four boundaries before retiring on 50 in OVs’ 16-over total of 151 for four.
