Red Arrows hope to be in air display
Friday 26th August 2011, 2:59PM BST.
THE Red Arrows flight team say they are planning to fly in the Jersey Air Display despite the death of one of their members last week.
The Royal Air Force’s Red Arrow squad have been told they can resume flying after the fatal crash that killed one of their pilots in Dorset last Saturday.
However, it is still not certain whether they will appear at this year’s Jersey International Air Display that is due to take place on Thursday 8 September.
The groups flying schedule was suspended after Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging was killed when his plane came down after performing at the Bournemouth Air Festival.
