Jersey finally celebrate their first win in Division VI of the World Cricket League after two close defeats earlier this week in Malaysia
JERSEY’S bowling attack ripped through Malaysia yesterday to record their first win in Division VI of the World Cricket League being played in Kuala Lumpur.
On another rain-affected day, opening bowler Anthony Kay was in fine form with four wickets and he received super support from medium-pacer Alex Cooke and left-arm spinner Ben Stevens as Jersey won by seven runs.
Jersey are playing Tuesday’s abandoned game against Nigeria today. Guernsey’s match with Nigeria was washed out yesterday but will not be rescheduled as there are no available dates remaining.
