Firms urged to enter marathon relay

ISLAND companies are being encouraged to enter the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon Relay Race, which runs alongside the main Marathon race on Sunday 2 October.

Over 175 teams have already signed up and they are ‘laying down the gauntlet’ to others in their industry to match them and compete.

The Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon has introduced Corporate Cups for the first time to encourage companies to rival others in their business sector.

Teams can compete for the Standard Chartered Bank Cup, the Mourant Ozannes Law Cup, the Touchstone Trust Cup, the Accountancy Cup and the Media and Communications Cup.
