St Peter go three points clear

SEVERAL fine saves from goalkeeper Danny Kitchen and a clearance off a goal-line were instrumental in helping St Peter to a 2-1 home victory against Trinity on Saturday.
The top two teams, who were both unbeaten at the start of play, served up some entertaining football throughout and a much-changed Trinity side, from last season, were unlucky not to have taken a point.
Yes, St Peter had two opportunities in the first five minutes, both saved by Chris Townsend, but shortly after the resumption Trinity were unlucky not to have cancelled out Beau Warr’s deft headed goal after 38 minutes
