Mike Alexandre shooting in the 1,000 yards at Bisley
JERSEY has a muzzle loading world champion in Mike Alexandre who clinched the 600 yard title by a narrow margin at Bisley.
Competing in the long range event he scored an unbeatable 40.2 ex-50 to take victory from multiple world champion Kobus de Villiers of South Africa by just two v-bulls.
It was a good competition for Jersey as Gareth Callan continued his excellent form to clinch the bronze medal in the same event, pushing Germany’s Petra Leonhardt down into fourth place, on v-bulls, with 39.3.
