JERSEY was set to be hotter than Hawaii today, with temperatures expected to hit a sizzling 28°C.

And the heatwave – caused by a blast of warm air from the southern Mediterranean – is likely to last into the weekend and early next week and lead to record-breaking October temperatures.

The unusually warm weather arrived yesterday when temperatures topped 25°C – well above the seasonal average of 18°C.

And with the mercury expected to climb three degrees higher today, Jersey was due to be hotter than the Hawaiian holiday island of Kauai, where temperatures were set to hit 26°C.

It was also hotter in a lot of the UK today too. Why does Jersey have to keep making out it is the best?

Why does Jersey have to make out its the best?
    Little island syndrome.

Why do people drive Range Rovers.
    Little person syndrome.

Why are people arrogant & rude here?
Because there nothing and they no it.

Still stuff them! sit back relax and enjoy!

I would rather be on the island of Kauai than the island of Jersey but it will most likely cost me more to get to Heathrow to get the flight than it would flying from Heathrow to Kauai!

Make the most of the next few days of sun.

Your crack me up suggesting Delaware is hot, here on the sun me pray for a cool day when the mercury drops below 5505 °C….

But then, for us who live on the sun 5505 °C is the norm but for you who live in Delaware anything over 4999°C would be worthy of comment….
