Radisson Blu wins green award

THE Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel has become the first Channel Islands hotel to win a gold award from a national scheme for its approach toward ‘green’ tourism.
Applicants to the Green Tourism Business Scheme are scrutinised on over 145 separate measures covering a range of areas such as energy and water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity and more.
Paul Jeffries assessed the four-star hotel and said: ‘This was an admirable achievement due to a range of outstanding good practice initiatives.’
