International Air Display
The main celebration of the Island’s history is Battle of Britain Week organised by the RAF Association, the highlight of which is the International Air Display.
The display includes a Memorial Flight of famous planes such as Lancasters, Dakotas, Spitfires and Hurricanes over St Aubin’s Bay as well as aerial stunts from the Red Arrows.
The aircraft can be viewed close-up on the ground at Jersey Airport and People’s Park in St Helier. The event has been described as one of the best in Europe and helps to raise funds for the Royal Air Force Association – Wings Appeal.
The Jersey Evening Post photographers are always in the best position to capture the event.
