Parks

Jersey’s mild climate and its geographical position, means that there are many flowers and plants which thrive in the Island but are relatively rare in the UK.

The Island’s parks are beautifully maintained and are perfect getaways for those wanting to laze away a spring or summer day.

Coronation Park, St. Aubin’s Road, St. Lawrence is also known as Millbrook Park. Access and parking is from the Inner Road. Access to the beach/promenade of St. Aubin’s Bay is from the south of the park but be careful when crossing the dual carriageway. There is a playground for young children, and the Glass Church is located next door.

Howard Davis Park, St. Clement’s Road has beautifully maintained gardens within walking distance of town. During the summer, free outdoor concerts, film shows and live entertainment are held in the auditorium.

Les Jardins de la Mer along the waterfront in St. Helier has park benches where strollers can relax and enjoy the view. In the summer, there are open-air trampolines, a great attraction for young children. Peoples Park, Westmount, St. Helier is on the outskirts of town and has a small playground.

Springfield Playground, St. Helier is by the football stadium on the outskirts of town. The newly built play area features a modern sandpit and has designated areas for younger and older children with the safety of a rubber surface.

Winston Churchill Memorial Park, St. Brelade offers a pleasant alternative to the beach. There is a large collection of beautiful exotic plants and established trees providing welcome shade on hot summer days.
A great place for a picnic!
