Green Island

000133-1.jpgA sandy beach dominated by the grass-topped outcrop of rock from which it takes its name.

If the tide is not too high, this Green Island can be explored – as can the gullies and pools beyond. Care is advisable though, as the island gets cut off at high tide.

Very popular with swimmers, Green Island has a car park, a kiosk for ices and drinks, and even a popular restaurant situated just above the sea wall.

Served by bus route 1.
