La Rocque

000131-1.jpgShelter from westerly winds makes the little harbour a popular place in suspect weather.

Bathing, however, is possible only at high tide. At low water it is possible to explore the reefs and gullies, and low water fishing for seafood is a popular pastime of the locals. However, great care must be taken to avoid being cut off by the rising tide and strong currents.

Food and drink is available on the slipway at La Rocque and parking is generally easy.

Served by bus route 1.
