Plemont
Plemont – or more properly Greve au Lancon – is another beach which can be reached only on foot.
There is a certain amount of parking near the steps and bridge which leads to the beach and more spaces on the headland. The beach disappears entirely at high tide but at low water there is a fine expanse of firm golden sand.
Bathing is dangerous at Plemont when the sea is rough – especially from the rocks at the foot of the access bridge. Major bonuses at the beach are a cafe and some of Jersey’s most impressive sea caves.
Served by bus route 8.
