St Brelade’s Bay

000109-1.jpgOne of the Island’s most popular bays, St Brelade’s has all the facilities anyone could want, from windsurfer hire to beach cafes and restaurants, and from bars to speedboat banana rides.

Bathing is safe – except on the rare occasions when a heavy swell is running – and lifeguards are on duty in the summer months. Some of the sights to see are St Brelade’s Church and the Fishermen’s Chapel, which nestle at the western end of the bay and are surrounded by old pines.

Parking can be difficult during the height of the season, but the bay can be reached by a regular bus service. Also at the bay is the Winston Churchill Memorial Park, which offers a pleasant alternative to the beach.

Served by bus route 12.
