Shopping

000113-2.jpgSt Helier is the shopping centre of Jersey providing a full range of shopping opportunities from both standard high street names and the more esoteric specialist shops. But don’t forget there are even more options around the island.

Pedestrian Precincts
The pedestrian precincts include King Street, Queen Street, Bath Street and Halkett Street.

Jewellery Shops
Jewellery shops in town are plentiful, making Jersey the perfect place to treat yourself to a holiday present. Whether you want to find a bargain or spend hundreds of pounds, St Helier will have a store which has something in it for you.

Department Stores
Only 87,000 people inhabit Jersey, but they demand plenty of choice, and the Island’s two department stores, both of which were set up more than 100 years ago by local families, provide an array of clothing and home products. Both Voisins and de Gruchy’s can be found in King Street.

Smaller Shops
Away from King Street, Halkett Place, Halkett Street and Beresford Street are the places to go if you want an array of smaller shops. In particular, Halkett Street is a focal point for anyone searching for designer labels, where small boutiques and men’s clothing shops take up much of the area.
