The car careered across a footpath and hit a tree
TWO teenagers were taken to hospital following a dramatic crash in Grouville yesterday when a sports car careered across a footpath and hit a tree.
An Ambulance spokesman said that paramedics transported the boy and girl to the General Hospital for treatment after a single-vehicle accident on Rue à Don.
A blue Mazda MX5 collided with a tree on a straight stretch of the road at about 1.40 pm.
The 17-year-old boy driver was kept in hospital overnight. However it could not be confirmed whether the 17-year-old female passenger had been discharged.
