A big thank you to Mrs Jones for allowing the public to see her families private photos. Every generation of my family including myself served in the armed forces, one killed in Ireland, and another in WW2. My great grandfather served before 1914 in the Jersey Militia. And my father served in Malta, and yet not one photo was taken or can be shown of our family history. So I can only say Historian, Mr Ian Ronayne is a credit to the island for keeping history and memories alive. Well done.

I agree. Ian has more or less single handed reawakned history. I live near Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup, where men from the Jersey Contigent were treated.
