A MAN was stabbed on Christmas Day and a woman suffered injuries to her face in a separate unprovoked attack by a group of male youths while walking to work on Christmas Eve.

The police are appealing for witnesses to both incidents.

On Monday the young woman was assaulted by the group in New St John’s Road near the gates to Mont à l’Abbé cemetery at about 8.40 pm.

The grave and criminal assault on Christmas Day happened in Le Squez Road, St Clement.
