The police seized thousands of pounds worth of cocaine at the weekend.

Officers recovered 3oz of the class A drug, thought to be worth around £7,500 as well as £5,000 in cash.

Two men were arrested in connection with the seizures on Friday night.

One was due to appear in the Magistrate’s Court this morning and a second has been released pending further inquiries.
