Fraudster who gambled away his friend’s £94,000

A MAN who thought he was a hot-shot foreign exchange trader after playing a computer game lost his friend £94,500 when he tried to play the markets for real, the Royal Court heard yesterday.

Timothy Huchet was jailed for 2½  years for fraud after losing his friend’s savings over a number of years.

The court heard how Huchet gained confidence in his abilities to play the foreign exchange market after using a computer game that simulated trading.
