A MOTHER was so traumatised by a break in that she is now afraid of leaving her children on their own at their family home, the Royal Court heard on Friday.

The court heard that even though the house in St Clement was empty when the crime took place last July, the victim had been left worried about her children’s safety.

A 34-year-old man was jailed for 2½ years  for breaking and entering and theft.
