Urgent child care reform needed

SOME of the care services provided to Jersey’s most vulnerable children are in need of urgent reform, according to a new report.

The review, carried out by UK charity Action for Children, found that a specialist team which supports disabled children was under-staffed and that many families struggled to obtain respite care services.
