Jersey’s HMV store is not one of the 66 on the closures list
JERSEY’S HMV store is safe for now – despite the chain announcing it is going to close 66 shops.
HMV’s administrators Deloitte revealed yesterday that 66 of its 220 UK stores will shut over the next two months and almost 1,000 staff will lose their jobs.
Neither of the Channel Islands branches featured on the list and Deloitte said that all of the outlets set to close were loss-making.
