A 22-YEAR-OLD accused of stabbing a man with a broken wing-mirror was found not guilty of committing a grave and criminal assault by a jury in the Royal Court yesterday.

The man was also acquitted of causing a breach of the peace and of maliciously damaging the wing-mirror of a car on 19 August in Poonah Road and Great Union Road.

The Assize jury of four women and eight men took 45 minutes to come to a unanimous decision on all counts and find the defendant not guilty of an alternative lesser charge of common assault.
