ANOTHER powerful performance on day four of the Jeux des Iles in Guadeloupe has boosted Jersey’s medal count to 15.

JERSEY put on a stunning display on day three of the Jeux des Iles in Guadeloupe lifting their medal tally to a record number of eight - two of them gold.

Conditions suit sailors

THREE Jersey sailors make the trip to the Jeux des Iles in Guadaloupe next week and will be based in Le Gosier, the main tourist town on Grande-Terre, with George Moisan and Elizabeth Ellison competing in their first games and Laurence Carter making his second appearance having placed 24th in Corsica.
