Jersey Rugby Club continued their winning form today, beating visitors Sedgley Tigers by 31-10 and gaining a bonus point.

It means three successive wins for the Island side who scored their fourth and vital try for the bonus point late in today’s match at St Peter.

Numerous yellow cards were handed out in a game which saw Jersey take a commanding 17-0 lead during the first half and – despite more of a challenge from the visitors in the second half – keep up the pressure to finish 21 in front.

Jersey teenager Chris Levesley came close to scoring his first try at this level, but each time was denied – much to the disappointment of the crowd.
