THE Jersey Football Association are looking for two new figureheads after the president and chief executive officer announced late yesterday that they would be leaving office at the end of this season.

President Ricky Weir will not be seeking re-election at the Association’s annual general meeting, in July, while CEO Creeden will leave after the Kleinwort Benson Muratti Vase final at Springfield on 7 May.

Creeden, who came to the Island from the Hampshire FA, is leaving the Island to take up a senior role with the Football Association as a regional manager for the East.

Weir, who has been president for six years, has cited increasing work commitments away from the Island and wanting to spend more time with his young son and family as his reasons for stepping down.
