JERSEY Football Association vice-president Iain Mackenzie is one of the few leading officials in the Island game not to completely rule out taking over as JFA president when Ricky Weir steps down this summer.

Weir publicly announced his intentions to step down at this summer’s annual general meeting earlier this week, with the association also revealing that they will lose their chief executive officer Paul Creeden, who has accepted a major regional post with the FA in May.
