FORMER England Test captain Mike Gatting OBE will visit Jersey next month to help support Island cricket.

Gatting, a tenacious and talented batsman with Middlesex and England, is giving up his time to help the official launch the Keith Dennis Young Cricketers Foundation on Friday, 7 December.

He will also be helping publicise the release of the Jersey Cricket Annual by signing copies of the book, profits from which will go towards Island cricket.

An ‘Evening with Mike Gatting’ will be held at the offices of Rathbones Investment Mangement International, from 7 pm.
