JERSEY RFC professional James Voss will out of action for some ten weeks … but the Island teenager was still smiling yesterday as he knows it could have been so much worse than that.
A series of operations on his upper right arm, to battle an infection that threatened not only his fledgling career, but the limb itself, has left him reflecting on how quickly things can change.
The towering flanker (18) only just got out of hospital last Saturday with around 80 staples in his arm after a haematoma that developed some time after the home cup clash against Leinster A on 8 December left his arm grotesquely swollen.
