Ross Broadfoot is back at fly-half
AFTER criticising the players’ display against Moseley last weekend, Ben Harvey has made significant changes to his Jersey squad and pledged that there are shirts up for grabs for the Championship run-in.
The Island’s director of rugby has named just six of the starting line-up against Moseley in his XV for the British & Irish Cup tie against Leeds Carnegie at St Peter. He denied this was a matter of rotation, or resting certain players, and said there was an opportunity for those selected to grasp.
Although both sides have no realistic chance of winning pool 5 and claiming a place in the B&I knock-out stages, Harvey is using the final two pool matches as a chance to fine-tune his squad prior to the league clashes with Rotherham and Bedford over the next month.

FINE TUNE, Your’e having a laugh!!
Extremely pleased Mr Harvey is not my mechanic.
Worst display I have seen in three years.
Who are you going to blame this time Mr Harvey?
It’s time the people at the top change the Chief Mechanic, before the wheels fall off and we become a complete write off.
Best wishes to young Chris
