HOCKEY player Beckie Herbert made her 100th England and Great Britain combined senior international appearance yesterday afternoon in Cape Town as her England side lost out 3-1 to a strong Australia side.

Herbert, who received her first international cap ten years ago in 2003, has played all three of England’s Investec Challenge matches so far, taking her International cap tally to the landmark figure.

The Jersey girl now has 70 caps for England in which she has scored eight goals. and 30 caps for Great Britain returning four goals.
