Harvey shuffles his backs to face Blues

Jersey resume their RFU Championship campaign at Bedford today hoping that the local knowledge of Ross Broadfoot will be the key ingredient in breaking a run of away defeats.
The challenge of getting a result against the longest-standing club at this level is a considerable one. Not only are the Blues solidly placed in third, and the division’s leading scorers, but their home ground has a noticeable slope that can take some getting used to.
That’s one reason director of rugby selects the experienced Broadfoot for his first league start since Bedford came to Jersey at the end of September.
‘The slope can make a bit of difference and Ross has played there before [27 appearances and 96 points for Bedford during the 2006/07 season] which is helpful,’ said Harvey. ‘But we are also without Barry Davies, and I think switching Mikey [Le Bourgeois] to full-back and playing Ross at 10 is the best option.’
