Around the island there are a number of landing opportunites in various bays along with numerous slipways for launching and landing small craft.
There are two main harbours that cater for commercial traffic. Jersey’s prodigious amount of cargo is landed at the main harbour in St Helier, as are most passenger services from the UK, Guernsey and France.
Gorey has a tidal harbour nestled under Mont Orgueil castle which carries more seasonal traffic to Brittany and Normandy.The following shipping companies operate from Jersey’s harbours:
